Bio:
I have been a Montessori teacher for 16 years. I taught 2nd and 3rd lower elementary for six years before moving up to 4th and 5th upper elementary. I earned a BA in Biology and a Masters in Education. I completed the AMS 6 - 9 and 9 - 12 certification from CMTE in North Carolina. For five years I have been a Girl Scout leader for several troops: Brownie troop 1351, Junior troop 1051, and a Cadette troop. I love to read, scuba dive, play football (Jacksonville Dixie Blues), and do Tae Kwon Do. My husband and I have been married 17 years, and we have two middle school children who attended Axson. My mother (Beth Boyd) just retired from J. Allen Axson. |
