Bio: After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University, I became a news writer and editor, and later a public relations account executive servicing national corporations. I returned to FSU to earn a Masters of Library Science degree and taught one year in a traditional intermediate school. I have been J. Allen Axson’s media specialist for the past 15 years. While at Axson I have received Lower Elementary Montessori training, earned an endorsement as an instructor of gifted students, and become a Florida Master Naturalist through the University of Florida. I love gardening, the outdoors, and of course, reading. I am the proud parent of one daughter who currently is in graduate school studying psychology. |
